bsign software package provides Corruption & intrusion detection using embedded hashes, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bsign
bsign is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bsign package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bsign *
You will get with bsign package name, version, architecture and description in a table
